Invasion Protocol
3-1.1: Humanity is at war with the Titans and clearly, being members of the Survey Corps, you will be engaging the Titans in numerous scenarios and locations. This will be carried out in a very specific and coordinated manner.
3-1.2: Combat threads will be centralized around a single location with at least one Squad designated in each one. In addition to this there will be at least one individual assigned to manage the Titans as they engage the Squad. The soldiers must conduct combat against the Titans as though actual players, which means they cannot declare whether or not their attacks or maneuvers are successful no matter how certain it appears as that is the host's duty. The host must remain within the parameters of the respective Titan behavior and abilities.
3-1.3: The Survey Corps can expect to be outnumbered by the Titans in most of their engagements. As a result it is advised to exercise extreme caution. Though the average Titan lacks any intellectual capacity and may be sluggish they are not to be taken lightly by any means. Failure to operate as a team will almost undoubtedly result in multiple casualties.
3-1.4: In the event that a character dies in one of these battles they are permanently dead. This means that the character is no longer playable and will be locked. A record will be stored of their death as it occurs. You may create a new character but will be unable to join any ongoing battles and will be reset to a Private with no feats or bonuses.
3-1.5: Some battles may not be simply about eliminating the Titan threat in each designated location. Civilians may be under attack and required aid, evacuation centers may need aid in their defense or other player or NPC Squads may be in need of reinforcements. The objectives will vary from case to case but a list of all the mission types will be available here.
3-1.6: Each mission will be posted with a semi-detailed, pre-made map along with technical data on the Titan presence, objective, Squad recommendations and any relevant information. However some missions will not be able to display accurate information on any Titan presence or may have none at all. Upon entering the area the Squad will gain information on this which will be updated but may not account for Titans not within sight. It is also important to understand that at any given point more Titans may enter or leave the area. If this occurs the information may or may not be updated, depending upon visual confirmation. It is also possible that Titans may leave the designated location of one thread and enter an adjacent location at random. Aberrant Titan presence will only be accounted for upon witnessing Aberrant behavior or ability. This will be displayed in the following template:

3-1.7: In the event that a player or NPC Squad(s) is in need of reinforcements one member must fire a red flare. Any Squad that wishes to assist must first complete their mission before doing so. Abandoning the mission will result in consequences both throughout the battles and by the Survey Corps Administration. If multiple Squads are in one location one or more may break off to oblige the distress call but it is not recommended. The reinforcements must then travel to the distressed Squad's location in a separate thread.
3.8: Your parring blades and gas are finite. With every strike your blades will dull and require either that they are replaced or the dulled segment to be broken off and your gas will drain with the use of your Manuever Gear. In the event that a mission is completed the Squad(s) will have the opportunity to return to base to re-arm and re-fuel in safety, if their path of travel is uncontested and under Human control. A yellow flare must be fired prior to returning to base. Then either an NPC or player Squad will be dispatched to take the original Squad's place. If a Squad is in need of re-arming or re-fueling while in combat they must either disengage and fire the yellow flare or fire a black flare, recognized as a distress call for a Squad low on supplies and in need of assistance, and then fend off the Titans as they await reinforcements. If the mission was failed they must attempt to disengage to an area under Human control and standby for further orders, return to base to re-supply or serve as a garrison.
Giant Land Protocol
3-2.1: In the event of a mission taking place beyond the walls there will be multiple player Squads together. This will be organized into one general thread for all of the Squads, namely the Squad Leaders, and one thread for each Squad respectively. One host must be selected for each Squad.
3-2.2: In the aforementioned missions there will be one Squad that will be designated as the Lead Squad to take command over the mission. This will be determined by the Squad Leader with the highest Leadership Value. The chain of command from there will go to the next Squad Leader with the highest Leadership Value respectively or Squad Member if all Squad Leaders are killed.
3-2.3: When combat with Titans is initiated the Squads will branch off either individually or in groups of Squads to engage the Titans as is applicable. Squad that have no Titans to engage or have slain theirs may stand by to assist the others or immediately join them. All of this will be based upon the orders given by the Commanding Squad Leader.
3-2.4: Tactical data on these missions prior to initiation will never be completely accurate and may in fact prove to be completely incorrect. Information on Titan presence will be continually updated throughout the mission upon visual confirmation. The maps provided will use this format (Link).
3-2.5: It goes without saying that missions beyond the wall are extremely dangerous. There is no chance to re-supply, no reinforcements and no guarantee of reliable intel. Anything could end up going terribly wrong in the blink of an eye. Be aware that there is a strong probability of there being multiple casualties.
3-2.6: Each Squad will often be in adjacent sectors to each of the of the other Squad and it is highly recommended to maintain this as much as possible. This will allow Squads to move in to assist their fellow soldiers if in need of aid. This may occur at any time so long as the soldier(s) are able to traverse the distance uninterrupted. However this means that the Titans may also abruptly move into another Squad's sector and engage them without warning. If a Squad is separated from the group they must travel back to an adjacent sector to regroup with the others. If the open sector is filled with Titans the Squad must breach the Titan infested sector to regroup with the others.
3-2.7: If a mission beyond the walls is successful the Squad(s) will then carry out their objective as applies though may be attacked at any time. If the mission is failed the Squad(s) must flee to a safe sector, most likely having to fight through the Titans, and return to base.
3-2.8: At the end of every battle or mission the Survey Corps will have reports of all events as well as reports on Individual and Squad performance. An admin will then create a thread as an NPC officer to host a ceremony where medals and promotions will be granted as deemed worthy.
