1.1: Naturally the soldiers will not always be fighting the Titans and will have time to socialize with their fellow soldiers. These may be on base or anywhere in the Human Territories.
1.2: Those who decide to create a social roleplay thread must state whether it is Open or Closed upon creating the thread. From there they have control of the roleplay and what events may unfold with few restrictions.
1.3: Roleplayers may not have a Titan appear in any way during their roleplay. This would mean that the walls were breached and a battle would have to be arranged by the moderators and forces others into it and thus is not permitted. If an individual started the thread and the walls in the area they are in were breached this may occur. This would require the breach and social thread to have been created either on the same day or one day apart. A moderator would then create a post within the social thread to indicate the walls being breached whether it is soldiers running and flying down the streets, a loud explosion followed by a scattered volley of boulders or civilians fleeing to warn anyone participating in the thread. In the event this occurs the soldiers are obligated, if not wearing their Manuever Gear, to return to base to arm and stand by for orders. If they have their equipment they may either immediately join their comrades or return to base and await orders.
1.4: There is the possibility of a physical altercation between characters. If this occurs it must be understood that there will most likely be consequences from the Military Police. A system will be established for NPC investigations of these matters. In the event that a character is significantly injured they will undergo medical treatment and may or may not be fit for taking any missions. The consequences will vary based on the severity of the altercation but will not be lenient.
1.5: Murder may happen in a social roleplay thread. However this will result in an official Survey Corps operation with two player Squad collaborating with an NPC Military Police Squad. Moderators will manage NPC's and discern any discoveries. If the perpetrator is discovered they will be arrested and publically executed. If they resist arrest it is up to the soldiers to chose between subduing to detain or to eliminate the threat. Murder is not recommended.
1.6: Keep in mind that the majority of the population is not fond of the military, most notably because they eat for free. Remain true to this throughout your social roleplays. Some may show praise once in a while but not expect any parades. In general simply remain true to all current factors involving your character and the environment.
1.7: Romance is by no means disallowed in any roleplay threads. The only restriction is the degree it may be shown in these threads. Displays of affection such as a long embrace, kiss and cuddling are allowed but any type of sexual interraction such as illicit contact, partial or full nudity and intercourse must be done in private messages. Discussing such things In Character may be permitted if discretion is applied and there is no inappropriate detail. This is most namely because there are many who do not wish to see such content and there may be minors present that should not be viewing it.
1.8: Members may initiate a social roleplay thread while on a mission but it is not recommended. This is because if their character is killed on a mission any roleplays started on the day the mission began or after will be rendered void. Additionally if the walls are breached and a battle begins no social roleplay threads may take place in that location on the day after the battle thread was created. Only if the battle is won may any social roleplays take place there.
1.9: Let it be understood that no actions In Character, so long ar they are in line with the technical rules, will not be punished Out Of Character and vice versa. The two are to remain completely seperate. In Character actions and behaviors may have consequences in the roleplay spectrum, good or bad, while Out Of Character actions and behavior will have their own seperate consequences.
